SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) prevention measures

At Vinataxi, our priority is the safety of our passengers. Therefore, given the current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, we have drawn up a guide with the main measures we have adopted in our taxi service:

• We visibly display, both on the outside and inside of the vehicle, the number of seats or capacity allowed, as specified by the competent authorities at all times.
• Before starting the service, we indicate the prevention guidelines to our passengers. We provide our customers with hydroalcoholic gel so that they can disinfect themselves before entering the vehicle and after the service, as well as surgical masks in case they need them.
• Whenever it is safe, the driver will open the door for the client to avoid contact with the outside handle.
• Passengers and the driver must wear masks throughout the service.
• If the passenger is carrying luggage, we will ask them if they want assistance and, if so, after disinfecting their hands, we will load their luggage. In the event that it is the passenger who needs assistance to enter or leave the vehicle, the driver will provide it when requested and after hand disinfection.
• Unless there is a justified reason, passengers may not travel in the front passenger seat and the middle seat will only be occupied in the case of cohabitants. In the case of a single customer, they shall preferably occupy the rear right-hand seat, in a diagonal line with the driver (seat with the greatest distance between the two).
• We encourage payment by card, smartphone or other electronic means, preferably contactless and for any amount. Only the customer will handle the card, and the terminal will be sanitised after each contactless payment.
• We will avoid activating the air conditioning in recirculating mode.
• After the service has been performed, the vehicle shall be ventilated in order to renew the air in the passenger compartment and avoid the concentration of aerosols.
• The surfaces of the vehicle shall be sanitised and disinfected after each service, especially he door handles (interior and exterior), window buttons, seat belts, seats, the dataphone (if the customer has had contact) and, where appropriate, the dashboard of the co-driver.
• The interior of the vehicle is periodically ionised in an official workshop.
• The driver will comply with all the prevention and hygiene recommendations established and updated by the health authorities.
